After the steak lunch at the Normanby Hotel today, I was hankering for some stir fried hand-pulled noodles for dinner. As we drove into the car park in front of Endless Noodles at 6pm I couldn't believe my luck, a vacant car park! Vacant car park spaces are a rare commodity in this small precinct of restaurants. Moments later we were in the small restaurant with half a dozen diners eating happily. As the affable owner offers me the menus, I order a hot pot of Chinese tea and my girlfriend opts to sit outside to enjoy the light cool breeze.

Time for a review update so Phuong Tran and I walk in at 5.45pm last Saturday. Five tables are already occupied as the Owner/Waiter ushers us to our table. We sip on hot fragrant Jasmine Tea as we peruse the Menu. This is one of the best Jasmine Teas served in a Brisbane restaurant.<br/ <br/ Shallot Pancake $5.80) is served hot from the kitchen. The food here is delicious and we loved the classic Xinjian dishes of BBQ lamb skewers (seasoned with chilli powder, cumin, black pepper and salt) and wonderfully chewy hand pulled noodles. The stir fried green beans with sun dried chilli and Sichuan pepper were fantastic. We'll be back soon to try some more dishes!

I've enjoyed a number of dishes here over the years. For a Western Chinese cuisine restaurant, their noodles, their hot pots on a cool winter evening and spicy lamb skewers are all quite good. Surprisingly even their other dishes like chicken with cashew nut and prawn with broccoli are also quite good.
The noodles are exquisite. Thick chewy texture, coated in a thick savoury sauce with bold, powerful hits of garlic and soy. Accompanying the noodles were crunchy buk choy , celery, capsicum, cabbage imparting a well received crunch with each spoonful of textured noodles. 8/10 would come again.
Decent meal. Priced about right for what it is. Liked the dumplings. Supplied left over containers happily. Noodles are good also. Recommended but not for special occasions.

Despite its deceptive name, this is not an all-you-can-eat noodle joint.
