Their rice is mixed with vegetables, which is a bit unusual for my taste, but they’re accommodating and will prepare it without them if you ask. My daughter prefers it that way, so I appreciate their flexibility. The burritos are enormous if you're looking for a hearty meal. I found it quite affordable, especially given the typical prices in Los Angeles. The combo featured two tacos—one with shrimp and the other with fried white fish, likely a Baja-style taco. Both were fresh and delicious, with generous portions. The staff were friendly and polite, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. We frequently visit this restaurant on Fridays because the food is delicious. However, during our latest visit, we encountered a surprise on a small order totaling $130. We requested two whole avocados on the side, but they did not inform us about an additional charge. We were shocked to see a $12 charge for the avocados. When we called to discuss the situation, they insisted they were justified in the charge, explaining that each avocado counts as two sides, with each side costing $3. If you're in the market for pricey avocados, this is definitely the place to go. Please note that the service here is takeout only.
I'm really disappointed with my last visit. I went there today (2/16/22) feeling excited because I wanted to enjoy the fish tacos. The tacos themselves were delicious, but the service was unacceptable. We received 7 tacos on one plate for two people, and they were almost dropped off by the server. When I asked for another plate, I was told that we couldn't have one. The guy was rude and had a terrible attitude. For a moment, I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t. My partner and I ended up eating from one plate.

I have dined at numerous seafood restaurants in Ensenada, and this establishment brought back fond memories of my time in Ensenada and Baja California. What distinguishes this place is that many restaurants serve their tacos with handmade tortillas, which isn't always the case in Ensenada. This definitely adds to the authenticity. I highly recommend trying their tacos and the mixed ceviche. I will certainly be coming back to explore more dishes.
This restaurant is incredible! The fish and shrimp tacos are incredibly tasty. The owner began his business here and has since opened locations in Hermosa and El Segundo. I've heard wonderful feedback about those locations too. The menu offers a variety of options, but the fish and shrimp tacos are undoubtedly the highlight of the menu.
The fish tacos are definitely worth a visit, but my boyfriend ordered the shrimp burrito and found it inedible. I'm not a fan of shrimp burritos, but he is, and he could only manage a couple of bites before tossing it in the trash. It was way too saucy and soggy, and the shrimp was rubbery and overcooked.
I absolutely love this restaurant! Their burritos are not only delicious, but they’re also large enough to feed two people. It can get quite busy at times due to its popularity, so be prepared for that. Also, make sure to try their flavorful chili sides – you won’t regret it!

Throughout my entire trip to California, this was the best meal I experienced! If you get the chance, definitely visit this restaurant. You won't be let down by anything on the menu. My husband and I sampled several dishes and were impressed with every single one.
