I frequent this restaurant several times a week. They serve some of the best fried fish tacos in the area. The rice they offer is mixed with vegetables, which I find a bit odd, but you can ask for it without them. My daughter will only eat it this way, so I appreciate that they are willing to accommodate. The burritos are huge if you're really hungry. I usually order either the fried fish tacos, fried fish burrito, or one of the bowls. The staff is always friendly and have never made a mistake with my order or overcharged me. If I had to find a downside, it would be that the parking lot is small and can be full on busy days. Additionally, sometimes the credit card machine is not working, so...
Excellent fish tacos. I love this place. I've been several times. It is within walking distance from my home but even if I had to drive, I would make the trip the service is wonderful they go out of their way to be nice to you and there's always a line they have specials on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so depending on what you want make sure you get there early or be prepared to wait. For as busy as they are the place is very clean and neat. They also have another location. I haven't tried that one but I heard it's just as good. I'll definitely be going back for more fish tacos. I recently tried out a fantastic Mexican restaurant that is popular among locals. I ordered combo #3, which was priced just over $12 and came with a drink. I found it to be quite affordable, especially considering the usual prices in Los Angeles. The combo included two tacos, one with shrimp and the other with fried white fish (possibly a Baja style taco). Both were fresh and tasty, with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and polite, and the restaurant was kept clean. There was ample parking available, and we had no trouble finding a spot even during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
We always go to this restaurant on Fridays because the food is great. Today, on a small order totaling $130, we asked for 2 whole avocados on the side. They did not inform us about the additional charge, so we were surprised when we were charged $12 for the 2 avocados. When we called to discuss the issue, they insisted that they were right because each avocado is considered 2 sides, and each side is $3. This restaurant is amazing! The fish and shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious. The owner started his business here and has since expanded to locations in Hermosa and El Segundo. I've heard great things about those locations as well. The menu is diverse with many options, but the fish and shrimp tacos are definitely the standout dish here.
