Erio's saved me when I first moved to St. Louis from Florida over a year ago. Dramatics aside, I grew up on New York style pizza (no really; lots of good pizza in South Florida because half the population is from New York) and I have to say that Erio's is as close as you're gonna get. The food is great to amazing. I've really only had their pizza (both their original style and New York style) and toasted raviolis. Portions are big, the value is better versus chain pizza places, and above all it's exactly the robust sauce, stretchy cheese, and classic toppings you want. Sadly after being there my entire life and then some (I'm 45); Erio's finally called it quits at this location. One in St Peters is still open and still has great pizza.

I've been searching high and low for pizza like thisThis is far superior to anywhere else I've gone in STL (which has been a lot of places).
I entered Erio's with a bit of skepticism after having read the prior reviews and observing the location from the outside.
Restaurant is shut down. Lease sign in window. Probably succumbed to Covid and other unfortunate circumstances.
Wasn’t sure about the place based on location but this is the real deal and the food is delicious.
