Pat and his staff are not only great people to be around, but the quality flavor of their pizza hasn't declined in DECADES! The sauce and simplicity with which the Ernie's staff prepare their pizza and breads is almost too simple that you might think it's too simple to just be this way. Let me tell you: It is. Why do you think they specialize with pizza? And why do you think they have the open kitchen concept? Because there is nothing to hide about the food they make, and who they are. Great pizza, and even better people. If you haven't stopped in, yoy better!

Been a long while since our last visit from LA to our lifelong go-to apizza place. Pat hasnt missed a beat. The plain tomato pie with a sprinkling of parm was out of this world...years since i last had one, the white rabe and mootz, and sausage pie...both top performers in a stacked line up. Great crust. Great New Haven apizza. Great people.

I have to say Ernie's has some of the best pizza I have tasted. The crust shines through. A wonderful pizzeria with a lot of heart. I recommend Ernie's to anyone who loves pizza.

Pizza was off the hook! I had the white clam and bacon. Definitely hitting thus spot again!
