We were seated right away but it took a few minutes to be greeted by our waitress. The waitress always seemed to be in a rush although the dining room was not packed. Not taking the time to be friendly and then rushing off without giving us a minute to finish with our inquiries. The food was edible at best. For starters we ordered the Guacamole and Ham Croquets. The Guac was good but the serving size was literally 3oz. The Guac comes with an assortment of chips which basically swallowed up the very small 3oz container in the center of the plate. The service at this restaurant was warm and friendly. I ordered the steak sandwich and requested that the meat be cooked rare. The server assured me that this could be done. However, the meat was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to eat. The sandwich bun was average, nothing noteworthy. My partner ordered the grilled vegetarian meal, which was slightly better, especially the black bean and white rice dish. The ambiance of the restaurant was very noisy, making conversation difficult. Despite the mixed experience, we will consider returning in the future.
I was excited to go to dinner. It was the third time we have dined here. We decided to go to the happy hour before dinner. I looked at the menu before we got there. When we got there the menu was different then on line. We ordered drinks and appetizers. When we got the bill it was much higher then we calculated. My husband questioned it and the bartender said she used the higher end liquor, which wasn't true because we watched her pour it. This was so shady! Please don't have happy hour if you are going to pull this crap! That's not cool!
This Latino restaurant is a great place to celebrate parties. We went there for a farewell party with our neighbors and had a good time. Pros include a variety of drinks, cocktails, and spirits; a dance floor; staff who serenade birthday celebrants with a mini lightning show; the option to bring your own cake to celebrate; and quick service. Cons include slightly high prices, the need for advanced reservations, and possible wait times. The music can be loud, so it might not be the best choice for those seeking a quiet environment.

We ate early at 5:45pm on a weeknight before a show at NBPAC, so the place was fairly empty. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. A few minor issues however, like one of the appetizers didn’t come until at least 10 min after the other 3, and the server was never around because she was always helping a large group somewhere else, so we had to always ask others for help. The great food made up for all of that and we would recommend the restaurant. It is more of a lounge atmosphere on weekends with entertainment.
The Pollo de allows entree was fantastic! The tast brought me back home to the Caribbean with seasoned, flavorful food. The entertainment was top notch with the legendary tap dancer, Omar Edwards, dazzling the audience with his dynamic, awe-inspiring footwork!
I feel as though the food is expensive for the poor quality and portioning. Drinks were amazing but We felt not welcomed at all. I love all kinds of food so to feel as if I wasn’t suppose to be there was very offensive and I will not be coming back.
Always love the food and service at Esquina Latina. Thanks to the restaurant for allowing us to bring in our own homemade dessert for my son who has food allergies so we could celebrate his birthday. So accommodating! It was a fun night!

This restaurant serves delicious Latin food. They have a wide variety of choices. The service is excellent and the space is large and comfortable. Their vegetable soup is superb and don’t miss the Argentinian skirt steak!
Maybe reduce the number of tables on the dance floor after 11pm to allow for more space for the large crowd.
