There is a huge selection of restaurants in this area but this is one of the best. I use it regularly for its takeaway and it’s always excellent. It offers a wide selection and all the usual favourites. On the odd occasion I’ve used the eat in restaurant the service has been slick and friendly. The food quality never disappoints. I rate this a must visit.
The Bengal is 1 of 2 Indian restaurants on Lampits hill so are trying to be good to stay in business at this trying time. We had a good meal there and would definitely go again.I usually have a Madras which was fine and interestingly slightly hotter (spice wise) than the other restaurant down the road Reasonably priced. No real problems so would recommend
I didn’t think it was possible for Indian food to be so lacking in taste. Had a prawn puri ? to start, and a chicken madras, with mushroom rice for main course. I reckon if I’d been blindfolded, I’d have struggled to tell the difference between the prawns and the chicken. All very wet. Not good enough.
we came to this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this restaurant. we were not disappointed. the crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. the meal was delicious. we had a great time and will visit this place again. highly recommended.
only called in spotlessly clean, staff welcome. chum chum huhn was great, like ceylon chicken. beer cold. beautiful atmosphere. recommended when they live in the opposite or if they live locally. a hidden gem for Asian cuisine
Not our first visit but the food has always been top notch. Always start with prawn and puree. Then im spoilt for choice. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
eat big, take both away and when it eats here, just one of the best Indian restaurants around the corringham area.
