I really enjoy this restaurant. However, I have to mention that they recently raised the price of the buffet and no longer serve baked steak, which used to be my favorite dish. They do offer it on their family-style menu, but only on Saturdays. Despite this change, it's still a great place to spend time exploring the various shops and enjoying a good meal. I noticed that baked steak has been removed from the all-you-can-eat menu and the family-style dining option, except for Saturdays. The restaurant and all the shops here are very well laid out, professional, and executed. I have always enjoyed visiting the car show that happens here during the summer on Thursds, called the Cruise In. The theatre features fun shows though I haven’t seen one in a few years. Would highly recommend to tourists and locals!
The shops are nice, but nothing particularly special, especially after spending a day shopping at the flea market and exploring downtown Shipshewana. The prices felt a bit steep, though I suppose that’s to be expected given the location near the Essenhaus.
It's a fantastic spot to stroll to after dinner. There’s a wide range of shops offering all sorts of items. While the prices can be a bit high, there are some excellent sales to be found. I really enjoy browsing here!

This place is fantastic! The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The buggy ride next door was definitely worth every penny, with a friendly guide and a beautiful horse and carriage. Highly recommend!
We had so much fun. So much to look at and love the originality of it. Restaurant was amazing, great service and how many places can you eat in a carriage?! Will return.
