Estaminet les Damoiselles

I’ve lived in Belgium for over a year now and yet the best Belgian food I’ve ever tasted was here – in France. The beef Carbonnade is simply terrific here, and since it is part of a reasonably-priced three course menu you cannot lose. You...do however need to drive (or accompany someone who can drive) to get to the restaurant as it is located in the middle of a field off a minor road, but it is worth the trek. I went with a large group of friends reuniting in Lille, and we all had a great evening and particularly enjoyed all of the wooden parlour games on offer to savour while waiting for your food.

Nous sommes venus en famille ; le plus, c'est qu'il y avait ce soir là un magicien qui a émerveillé nos petits enfants de 10 et 8 ans. Au niveau du repas, pour ceux qui ont pris le potchevelch, il était très sec et la quantité de frites (très palotes) était vraiment trop importante ; du gachis. La mousse au chocolat était compacte....Autre détail, même si c'est un estaminet, les chaises en bois, c'est pas très confortable sans coussin....

I discovered this place in December because I wanted to organise my wedding in a typical french nordic environment. I met the boss, Fabien. He is nice and clever. I went there a couple of time to test the different meals. I compared it with...some well-known traiteurs and Les Damoiselles always won the conquest. I can recommand the place for all those good reasons. So I you want to have a great traditional meal go ahead. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Dans un endroit retiré, au calme dans ce qui semble une ancienne ferme. L'ambiance et le décor nous font revenir en arrière, pour venir manger des plats brasserie du nord style tartiflette, welch, carbonade, potjevleesch...Par contre niveau cuisine c'est pas au niveau, juste bon, mais sans plus, rien d'extraordinaire... pas d'appel à revenir !

Y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises et y avons fait notre repas de mariage. Bien servi ; bon accueil ; personnel dévoué ; repas simple et copieux, et bon surtout.... Cela a fait l’unanimité des invités. Beaucoup de place, typiquement des Flandres pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas.

Repas en famille pour la fête des mères. Plats bien servis. Le welsh est un peu fade et les frites moyennement bonnes. Le cadre est convivial et joli. On y trouve des jeux anciens comme dans tout bon estaminet.Dommage que l'apéro n'ait jamais été servi... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

repas en famille pour la fete des peres ,l'ensemble des convives ont apprecies le cadre, l'acceuil et surtout les plats

Plats savoureux, copieux et accueil chaleureux. Déjà plusieurs visites effectuées en famille et jamais déçus.
