Daughter purchased offerings from both the bakery, and deli recently, to take for us to enjoy during an early December, 3 night stay in Harrison Hot Springs. And ‘wow’, we sure did!! <br/ <br/ from the bakery — their fruit cake — for me, about as “homemade” good as I have tasted for a very long while — dark, moist, and flavourful. And a big ‘yeah’ for not being overly sweet!! A tasty, much enjoyed treat during several afternoon and evening ‘moments’ during our stay.<br/ <br/ from the deli — sausage ring (garlic/Ukrainian), frankfurters, liverwurst, and sliced chicken loaf. Some very well prepared, flavourful, and good tasting deli stuff, that was much enjoyed during ’in room’ lunch...
This restaurant serves the most addictive sandwiches I have ever had. They may not be fancy, but simple really is best. You have the option to choose your deli meat, cheese, and bun, and everything is sliced fresh to order. My boyfriend and I always joke that there must be something addictive in the sandwiches because they are so delicious. Plus, at less than $4 per sandwich, you cannot beat the price and quality. I also highly recommend trying their amazing baked goods, especially the coconut macaroons.
The restaurant offers excellent service, delicious sandwiches, and fantastic sweets. While not extravagant, the food is of high quality and seems to be made with care. Their egg tarts and Natas are particularly outstanding, and their cakes are reasonably priced and well decorated. The custard donuts are a must-try, and the roasted garlic Havarti cheese on a grilled sandwich is unique and tasty. The staff are genuinely kind and pleasant.
This place is TOP notch!! Over the last few years it has gotten better and better and they keep bringing out new stuff all the time.. Prices are awesome and so are all there products. They made my wedding cake and a few of my friends wedding cakes and they were all a HUGE hit with everyone! Look forward to getting my daughters wedding cake there next month!! Keep up the GREAT work guys and ladies!!
The sandwiches are excellent. In the $5 range or less on your choice of bakery made bread what 's not to like there. Always busy so make sure you grab a number even if you just think you 'll be 'browsing ' . Baked goods are excellent too with the cookie and donuts along the far side my go to.
Delicious! My boyfriend got my birthday cake here and it was spectacular. Chocolate marzipan! I've also got chocolate macaroons here which were very fresh and tasty. I love walking down to this bakery and getting a treat. Service is a bit unfriendly.
Absolutely amazing pastries, cakes, deli, cheeses, and more. Can't recommend it highly enough! Once you order a cake from them, you'll never go back to the grocery store.
This restaurant serves the best sandwiches in the city. I often order them to bring as food on film sets for work. They are always a hit.
