I had a reservation for June 26 that I cancelled. They claimed I didn't have a reservation for June 26. They called me on July 3 claiming that I didn't cancel a reservation for July 3. We left Montreal on June 29 as per our...itinerary. Failing to understand in the phone call that I would not have made a reservation for July 3, four days after I left Montreal they charged my credit card $100. Now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card, which I am pretty sure will be reserved. What a shame. I have been there every time I go to Montreal. Now it is apparent that are are desperate for money. Why would a business alienate a customer, disgrace their reputation and jeopardize future busines...
I love this experience. IT literally is a FULL sensory experience taste (not just taste but texture of foods), feel, smell, still visuals, moving visuals, sounds both from prep and the food in front of you and you even move! It was event very thoughtfully...themed (though subtle) and EVERYTHING is thoughtful. We think they have to have a creative design team who chooses everything from the pictures on the wall to the cutlery. I recommend this as a UNIQUE dining experience. It would be a great special occasion place. I do Michelin star restaurants its my thing and this has been my favorite so far. The chef is proposing a unique experience at the Europea. It is a « show » during which each plate is staged in an original manner and you will eventually even move in the restaurant, visiting the cuisine and … surprise. The show itself, the restaurant and...the service is lovely, beautiful. But unfortunately the disappointment lies inside the plates. We did not enjoyed most of them, lacking taste to our opinion and being too simple : for instance the desserts (mainly an ice cream, a crep and few classic mini cakes you can find in a bakery). If you can afford the try (it is very expensive), you can take your chance, but be ready that eventually you will be disappointed.
I had the pleasure of dining here with my nephew. We had an early table partook of the 10 course tasting menu. I had handcrafted vodka cocktail with the Amuse Bouche and then champagne wine matched perfectly with the food. It was one...of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Food service were first class I recommend everyone who enjoys beautiful tasty food presented in a myriad of wonderful ways. If I ever come back I will make a bee line for here. Compliments to the Kitchen and all the staff….thank you for an unforgettable evening.
Excellent dining experience, wonderful service. An evening full of surprises. My only issue is that there was truffle in too many dishes. I am not crazy about truffle and if it would have been in only one item it would be great but there was truffle popcorn, truffle churro, truffle butter, and I think there may have been some in my scallops, after a while you only taste truffle. Next time I will just ask that they scale back on the truffle for me.
we had an amazing experience in europea. the whole evening was quite the spectacle that created the presentation about all the dishes. we went to my friend's birthday and had a nice time. at the end of the evening we even had hands shaken with the cook! would highly recommend the experience!
Both for lunch and for dinner, the experience is amazing. The staff is extraordinary, and the food is excellent. What really stands out is the presentation and attention to detail in every meal. Attached are photos of the lunch. I strongly recommend !
the attention to details was fantastic and the personal was always there for us. I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to this area. make sure to be dressed appropriately.
