This is one of the few excellent restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. It is owned and managed by lovely people, and the dining experience is always exceptional. I have visited several times and always leave happy that I chose to dine here. I also had takeout from them during the pandemic, which was a great option for a date night at home. The restaurant has a cozy cabin atmosphere with white tablecloths and a limited number of tables, creating an intimate setting. They have a great selection of wines and make sure to save room for dessert!
Had an absolutely fabulous dining experience at Evan’s. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing! I had the veal medallion dish and loved it. My husband had the lamb which he loved as well. Finished off with banana fosters dessert.yummy! The wine selection is fantastic and priced super reasonable. Ask Evan for wine recommendations he will not lead you astray! Food: 5
I was blown away by the flavors at this restaurant. Despite some initial concerns about the ingredients, my halibut dish with broiled cantaloupe and blueberry puree was a truly unique and delicious experience. I will definitely be returning and trusting the chef's choices. The prawn appetizer was also a delightful addition to the meal.

Evans is absolutely amazing. I had the Mignon and it was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. All the food including desserts were delectable. Been here twice and they pull through every time. All of it is worth the money Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

evans was excellent in every aspect of a company. from the time we left to the last. the owners were the hands on and all the employees detailed. Eating was great. a quiet atmosphere. they would be going back.
