My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. He ordered the chef's tasting menu while I opted for the vegetarian version. Both were exceptional, but my standout favorite was the butternut squash soup. The chef generously sent out an extra course on the house, and we also enjoyed some delicious bread. To top it all off, they surprised us with an additional dessert complete with a candle for his birthday. The ambiance was lovely—intimate and romantic—perfect for the occasion. I appreciated how the meal was structured with a nice progression of courses. I tried the cauliflower appetizer, which was outstanding! However, I didn’t care for the popular French country terrine. For my main course, I had the filet mignon, and it was cooked to perfection. To finish, I enjoyed what was perhaps the best dessert I’ve ever had: a pear dish. As for drinks, I’m not usually a fan of alcohol, but I decided to try one of their cocktails, which I found quite tolerable despite my usual aversion to cocktails. an eloquent and refined French culinary experience. each dish was made to perfection, and each cure added the next. I ordered the suppe and cooled sashimi thunfisch to start. the suppe was full of substance and freshly prepared and the thunfish was super fresh and refreshing. a great way to start a great meal. for the fish course I ordered the hard fish and it was cooked to perfection. the crispy skin and the flesh were full of juice. for the meat course I have the gut breast and let me tell you that was one of the best I had. What a lovely place! The food was absolutely outstanding, service was perfect, atmosphere on point. Alex was our server and he was wonderful. I really appreciate how he worked with me/my allergies to avoid tree nuts. All of the food was so tasty and carried so many flavors I?ve never had combined. I can?t wait to come back some time. A very relaxing dining experience. Romantic if you want to bring your significant other (mine unfortunately could not come). All the food was beautifully prepared and delicious and the wait staff were all very helpful and kind. Definitely a place to dine if you want to get your money's worth and have a great dining experience
absolutely beautiful location. the personal was about phenomenal and went out of the way to pamper (with aazing drink recommendations) and accommodate us(I have strong gluten/food allergies.) we were for our 2 years jubilee and had a special card with our names on the table before we arrived. can not recommend enough!
Absolutely fantastic! Although my reservation was mistakenly set for a week later, they went out of their way to accommodate us. We enjoyed an outstanding five-course meal, expertly presented by a knowledgeable staff. The owner was also there—such a kind and graceful gentleman. This is fine dining at its best!

Since we are in a high risk category, we eat for all our culinary excursions. The Refectory makes much more than with her Home Meals. It is a gourmet dining experience that is easy to prepare and to eat delicious. The food was delicious. Very recommended.
