This restaurant feels like the Cheers of Chicago. It's a great spot to relax before a show, with a wide selection of beer on tap and an excellent steak Caesar salad that comes in generous portions. The highlight of my evening was chatting with José, one of the regulars, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I made sure to introduce myself to everyone, including the owner. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff was attentive and the service was excellent. I truly appreciated how they made a tourist feel like part of the family. I can't wait to return, and a special thanks to José for his warm hospitality and engaging conversation!
One of my absolute favorite spots in Chicago! The deep dish pizza is amazing and definitely worth the wait. Even the salads and cheesy bread are incredible! I appreciate that there are real, burning candles on the tables. The atmosphere is straightforward and welcoming for everyone. I discovered this place during a summer in college when I lived in Chicago, and I've made it a must-visit every time I'm back in town. I absolutely love it!
I visited this restaurant with a group of 19 people, and they managed to seat us at two tables right next to each other on a busy Saturday night around 8:30 PM. We only had to wait about 10 minutes, which was impressive. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable! I highly recommend this place for a meal, and I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in the city!
We absolutely love this restaurant! It's a fantastic venue for hosting large meetings, and the space is quite spacious. They offer a wide variety of drink options. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, and it was delicious. He tried the French onion soup, which was also fantastic. The only disappointment was the ranch dressing; it could use some improvement. Friendly bar tender welcomed us for lunch at Exchequer bar/restaurant. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Tasty meatball sandwich with yummy sweet potato fries. Enjoyed fresh chopped salad with balsamic dressing. Excellent lunch reasonably priced. Recommend.
Small place in the loop that the Holiday Inn had advertised. It was really good food and you got a lot for the price! It is a little pricey, but you do get quite a bit of food. The staff was also very friendly! I would recommend it and definitely go back!
The deep dish pizza was awesome and our server was exceptional . Affordable and loved the atmosphere. I love a place where it has a historical significance and plus this is was Al Capones hangout spot.
