I absolutely adore this place. It's a local gem that my family and I have been frequenting for 20 years now, it's our go-to spot for fun. Whenever I bring a friend for breakfast, I make sure to arrive early and tell the waiter to double whatever my friend orders. They always double the portion, which is already quite generous. The look on my friend's face when they see the huge meal is priceless. I gladly foot the bill and leave a generous tip. On a recent visit, I discovered a new favorite - crispy deep-fried hash browns that are out of this world delicious. I have been ordering hash browns for 20 years and have never had them come out perfectly crispy until now. I can't get enough of them!
This is THE classic, go to breakfast spot in Meridian. The menu is just great. Plain and simple, no excess frills to hid a lack of quality, no bull. Just great food. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it’s refreshing to see a family business stand the test of time. The decor is simple but we like it that way. It’s a timeless and comforting feel that could never be replaced by anything else. When you come in you can expect to feel like family and leave bursting at the seams. Wear your stretchy pants!
I’ve passed this place a hundred times And always wondered how The food might taste or what it costs So I am here to tell you now. The price was low and portions high The service was the best My time here was a pleasure Thanks to our kind waitress. Our breakfast hot and tasty too It was among the best We filled our stomachs and packed the rest. A healthy tip was surely due. We are visiting from another state and decided to stop at this restaurant after seeing how well they treat their servers and the rave reviews about the food. We ordered the French toast and biscuits with gravy and were extremely satisfied with our meals. They were delicious! We wish we could bring them back home with us. Amazing food, if you are in this area you should definitely go. I would recommend the beer battered fries. only problem i could think of is that there are almost always waits but they are short and worth it. 10/10 edit: I recently had to go on a gluten free diet because of medical reasonings, and the omelets were a good gluten free option
This is a very unique little restaurant. It was our first time dining here and we really enjoyed it. The food and service were both excellent.
