Our server Nikki made some terrific recommendations for food and wine. Everything was delicious and the service wonderful. The mussels and the trout stood out with us that evening. Because it was a special occasion- my birthday- they brought the most divine desserts with the entertainer singing Happy Birthday! We enjoy F&B when we are dining as a couple or with a group of friends. Fab and Claudine set the tone for a memorable evening always. And, Nikki gives us the ultimate in service whenever we dine at F&B. We consider it our neighborhood gem!
I think that I am overdue in posting my love of F&B. There are so many things to highlight with #1 being: I can walk there from home! The food is always amazing and my favorite is the Trout. My favorite server is Bomba who is the epitome of the European waiter; just the best. No matter who waits on you, it will be excellent service. Randy at the bar always remembers your name and makes the best dirty martini 's and the owners, Fabrice and his daughter, the beautiful Claudine are excellent owners and always make you feel warm and welcomed.
Phenomenal French restaurant! They have some of the best escargot I have ever had. The brussel sprouts are incredible as well! The creme brulee is the perfect way to finish! Rashid was wonderful and informative on the menu options! The chef goes above and beyond! You must try this establishment when you visit!
Dining room and bar are contiguous. VERY loud group at bar destroyed the ambience of the restaurant. We did go early at 5 PM; maybe better later. Soup was average. Lamb was very good. Vegetables overcooked and too spicy. Crepes wonderful. Wine wonderful. Bread wonderful.

Can’t say enough about Randy and the staff! Took great care of us. The creamy onion soup is the best in the city and skirt steak and lamb sandwich were also delicious! It was our first time but we will definitely be back!
Great food and great service. I wish the selection was a bit wider especially when it comes down to desserts but the few things they do they do them well.
Great place for lunch. We enjoyed the lunch specials. Especially the French onion soup, seafood soup, salads and the salmon sandwiches
BEST French onion soup in the city—reminiscent of my favorite in Paris!! Randy’s (mixologist) cocktails are brilliant.
