I ordered one serving of Pad Thai and one serving of Hawaiian fried rice at this restaurant. After being told the total was $34.8, I paid with $40 in cash and received $5.6 in change. However, when I requested a receipt, I discovered that each serving actually cost $16 plus tax, leaving me confused about the extra $2.8 I was charged. Upon further inspection, I realized I had been overcharged by the restaurant. While it may seem like a small amount, it can add up for other customers. I am unsure of how this restaurant has such high ratings. The place is very small and lacks any atmosphere. There is a waiter who wears multiple hats. A group of 9 of us dined there yesterday and the service was terrible. We are almost certain that the vegetable basket we ordered had insects in it. When we brought this to the waiter's attention, he brushed it off as if it was amusing. To top it off, when he brought the bill, there was no detail included, just the total amount with an added 18% gratuity. The service was incredibly poor and the food quality was well below average. I do not recommend this place at all.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the food was excellent. The only issue was that they told us our food would be ready in 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. I would have preferred if they had been honest about the wait time so I could have done something else instead of just standing there. Other customers were also complaining about the long wait. The food was delicious, especially the fried rice, but the service was very slow. Would I return? Possibly. The fried rice was amazing!
This is my favorite Thai restaurant to visit whenever I come to Disney. The food options are great and always a reliable choice. I especially love their BBQ with rice, a dish that SoCal has but NorCal does not. Even though they are not connected, their dishes can hold their own against the Original Thai BBQ. I absolutely adored the food at this restaurant, and the owners are incredibly welcoming. My go-to dish is definitely the pad Thai, but I also enjoy the papaya salad and the green curry. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango, Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Pad See-EW. The dinner menu typically ranges from $10 to $20 per person, and I rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
