Do not bring young children to this establishment! The bouncy castle was taken over by unruly teenagers who were performing dangerous acrobatics and jumping around without regard for others. Unfortunately, my 2-year-old grandson was accidentally injured by one of these teens. The parents of these teenagers seemed unconcerned about their behavior. We had plans to meet friends and dine at the restaurant, but decided to leave and meet them elsewhere due to safety concerns. This resulted in a loss of revenue for the restaurant, approximately £150. We will not be returning as there appears to be a lack of supervision by parents, putting small children at risk. My experience at this restaurant was terrible. When I arrived, I found that most of the tables in the shade had been reserved for large family gatherings with noisy children. It felt unfair, especially considering the heat and the fact that it is a family-friendly pub. It seemed like they were expecting other families with children to sit in the sun. There was a bouncy castle, but it was being neglected by the staff, and the parents were not watching their children, who were misbehaving. This restaurant is incredible. It's quiet, friendly, and the staff are so helpful. We booked a table with Jess, the Manager, who is a phenomenal woman. Because we know her from previous visits, she took a break from cooking to greet and seat us, take our drinks orders, deliver the drinks, and take our food orders. The steak is amazing, you have to try it - and at such a reasonable price. They have a great selection of beer and delicious desserts. It's the perfect place to go with family and friends, and they even have a play area for kids. This place is truly amazing, you have to visit!
We called here for lunch having recent acquired a Quality Inns loyalty card. We thought we might try the local ones when we are in the area. Service was quick and the chicken starter was beautifully presented and tasted delicious . We opted for one of the days specials, the steak pie. This was delicious and came with chips or potatoes and peas. We opted for the chips and the whole meal was hot very tasty and too much for us to eat. We struggled though as it was so good. Would recommend this inn as we would certainly go again when we are in the area

Been here lots of times in the past and have always highly rated the food. Last night we were very disappointed. Mixed grill was much smaller compared to the last time we came and pretty bland. Rack of ribs were almost like the frozen microwave kind you buy in the supermarket and the chips were cold. Should have complained whilst we were there but didn't. Compared to the king teddy in longlevens which is also a QI pub there was a big difference in quality.
Very disappointed ordered a burger £14.00 asked if I want cheese and bacon for extra money said no then revived a burger in a bun with a piece of lettuce and tomato tasteless foodand chips are cheap frozen ones for the money not worth it not even a slice of cheese stay away loads of places around for £5 more the Anatolian palace did me a banging meal
Another excellent meal today. We had the carvery and a dessert. Extremely busy but still had the usual great attentiveness of the staff. We have eaten here for many years both at lunchtime and evenings and have never had a bad experience. Food is always good with prompt serving and friendly helpful staff. I would recommend Fagins to anyone.
Family xmas dinner at Fagins, excellent food, quick and friendly service by staff. There was 11 of us and the food was piping hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thankyou to all the staff at Fagins. We class this pub as our local, we go for midweek food quite often, steaks are our favourite, always cooked to our liking.

6 of us went for Sunday Lunch, I have been here numerous times and had good meals but on 8th October it was very disappointing,. Slivers of meat, cauliflower cheese-watery and cauliflower hard, carrots lots of bad bits, rest of vegetables and gravy tasteless. Friend said crackling seemed frozen. Such a waste of money.
