Fairy Tale Bakery Borodinsky bread: what happened to it?! It doesn't taste anymore how it supposed to! Firstly, much less coriander seeds are in there; but not only that the taste is completely different! Is a different type of flour used now for it, or perhaps other ingredients changed? It's difficult to put a finger on what's wrong with it, but it's going on for awhile already and our family feels sad to lose one of our beloved products! We are asking the Fairy Tale Bakery Management to make it come back in its original taste. In hopes for that I am giving now three stars, otherwise I would give one star for disappointment! I should have paid attention to the name. I think this bakery really is a fairytale. After reading these smashing reviews I drove all the way across the valley with my mouth watering. I finally find the place, walk in the door and the aroma of fresh break almost took me to my knees. Then all my dreams were squashed when an elderly man finally waddled out of the back and repeated no several times. I should have taken the hint when they didn 't answer the phone but I bought into the reviews, I was even ready to gnaw through the annoying red tape complained about in the reviews. I really hope I get to try this amazing bread but I 'm not driving over to get it again.
Today is Tuesday, October 25, 2022, and I was in the mood for some sourdough bread. After reading some mixed reviews about this bakery, I decided to take my chances and visit. When I arrived, the door was locked, but luckily the friendly baker came to assist me. Unfortunately, I learned that this bakery does not sell to the public. It was disappointing to see the delicious bread sitting on cooling racks just out of reach. So close to fresh bread, yet so far away…
Located in Reseda, California, this local wholesale bakery offers some of the most delicious bread I have ever tasted. My family and I especially enjoy the Rey and sourdough breads, which are always fresh and full of flavor. These breads can be found at Valley Produce Market and Jon's Market, but they sell out quickly. I love sourdough bread beyond all reason, and especially loved the Pavillions/Ralph's sourdough. I'm also picky af about sourdough. Most sourdough is either not sour, or not sour and dense. Then I found Fairytale's sourdough at Jon's. What a revelation! Chewy crust, open, light, slightly chewy insides. A gift to sourdough lovers! The best sourdough I've ever had, bar none. I'm planning a field trip to the bakery itself soon.

Fairy Tail Bakery sourdough is my very favorite sourdough bread. It is really sour and I just love it. My regret is that they no longer carry it at Super King, which is the only place I ever found it. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
