We visited Famous Dave's during the first week that restaurants were allowed to be open at 50% capacity. The management took advantage of the closure to redesign the restaurant with more comfortable seating. The order area is now set up for social distancing. The staff wear masks and are frequently seen cleaning. Silverware, napkins, and packaged utensils are sealed in plastic. The food was hot and delicious, and we felt confident eating there with the safety measures in place. We appreciated that some workers were wearing masks, although not all were. Thank you, Dave, for maintaining high standards. Keep it up!
Came here for Veteran’s day special and the customer service was phenomenal. Employees were polite and conversational, restaurant was clean, food was brought out quickly and was delicious. If you have never been you will love their Wilbur beansand hot and sassy pickles! My favorite barbecue in town. Great place for a quick lunch! I also forgot to mention the pricesare great! Especially with inflation lately they kept their low prices.
The beef was tough and hard to chew, and the pork was overly fatty. The food was served lukewarm, and sauce was slathered on everything, whether it belonged there or not. The beans tasted unappetizing, like a mix of glazed pork and beans. The coleslaw was overly creamy. On a positive note, the muffins were hot and delicious, and the potatoes were quite good. Overall, I had high hopes for this meal but was left very disappointed.
We had to wait awhile to even get someone to come ask what we would like to drink, our appetizer wasn't brought out and when we asked for it we still waited 15 minutes and had to ask again for it, it was finally taken care of. I understand if they were extremely busy but they weren't.

Great food, quick service and very considerate staff. I went here with my partner, and we accidentally left our leftovers behind. He went to pick them up, and they were very gracious and understanding. Great service!!
We continue to dine at this restaurant because my wife enjoys it, but only on special occasions and when we are specifically asked to go. I have fond memories of the original restaurant growing up near it.
To be fair, we were with a big group. The food arrived at different times and our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, but overall it was a positive experience and we would come back again.
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The pulled pork sausage was delicious, and the corn bread and cobbler were outstanding. Overall, a fantastic place to dine.
