We tried to use a coupon from the app, but he insisted he couldn’t look at it until he determined whether our order was for takeout or dining in. I repeatedly told him it was for dining in, but he didn’t seem to understand. After a frustrating ordering process, we ended up having to pay for extra fries that were missing, despite our coupon for free fries. When I brought this up to another employee who was delivering our food and showed her our receipt, inquiring why we were charged for fries when one was supposed to be free, she offered to refund just one fry. This was our 1st visit here, we kept seeing advertisements on TV. We went for breakfast. The place was very clean, and nice. The menu was huge up on the wall, and people were waiting so you had to hurry. We asked for a menu, and were told they didn't have any, if we want to complain, go to Riverside headquarters!. The menu online doesn't have prices. Anyway, we quickly ordered 2 breakfasts, and 1 drink. Much to our shock, the bill was $32+ We sat down and our food came in about 15 minutes. Drive thru is way too slow. I felt as if daily work grind was more important than the customer waiting for some acknowledgement. First at the menu, waited, like 2 minutes only to be asked to please wait . Not a hello or good morning. Then drive up to the closed window, and wait some more. Clearly the person standing on the other side of the window was doing something more important then simply acknowledging the customer. I understand the food is cooked and not microwaved...but I am only gripping about acknowledgement...you knownwhat I mean something like good morning I 'll be right with you
I went in with the expectation of enjoying a steak and egg breakfast, but had to settle for ham with three eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee instead. The total came to $20.09. I believe Denny's could have done better. Additionally, the music was so loud that I could hardly think.
I haven't been to a Farmer Boys in quite a while. I am happy to write that the food is still delicious. The cheeseburgers are excellent, and the french fries are crispy. They have a wide variety of foods. I will definitely return!
