My partner and I visited The farmhouse last night with great expectations, only to be bitterly disappointed. Having read all the posted reviews we were anticipating a memorable culinary delight, yet we experienced an extremely expensive, poorly considered combination of foods. Starting with bread, butter...and a small assortment of pickled vegetables, through to rubbery Calamari, culminating in crumbed Pork, reminiscent of the local corner take away shop, the only feeling we were left with was being ‘ripped off’. If you are extremely hungry, which my partner and I were, then the meal is filling. However, if you are seeking value for money and a wonderfully engaging evening, try another venue
Checked out this place based on a lot of recommendations. This gem is tucked away in the corner and you wouldn't really know it was there by just passing by. They only take bookings at certain times, due to the size specialty set menu, and...the type of service they provide. Everything from start to finish was amazing. The food is fresh (seasonal) and always interesting. Set course which is perfect as I don't want to think about ordering Just as Mike or any of the staff to pair your food with a beverage (wine or beer) Exceptional service and dishes Starters, Entree,...Main and Dessert are all You can check what is on the menu by looking them up on FB, and you can provide special dietary requirements Hard to beat this restaurant in Sydney unless you pay double
Amazing fresh food perfectly prepared!! We went to the farmhouse for my birthday and it was perfect. Mike was attentive to our reservation from the very beginning and accommodating for our vegetarian friend. The spanner crab tarts were sublime and the duck was excellent. The...service was very professional. We will be returning!! Thank you for making our night special
Consistently delicious home-style food with a twist. Cosy atmosphere, warm staff and seasonal flavours that you just want more of! Have been numerous times, once we booked out the entire restaurant for a 50th birthday and others just with smaller groups, and every time has been memorable.
Dinner and service was absolutely amazing. Value for money was fantastic. The roasted duck was so good, I would have been happy with that alone. Everything was next level. We will definitely be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
You cannot go wrong with this restaurant, set menu, cozy communal style dining and amazing chef/owner/staff! Highly recommended but remember to book in advance
