I know that it is easy to be very positive about our local restaurants, but Farnsworth is on a higher level. They provide outstanding service consistently while developing a can't miss menu. They offer daily specials that range from new and creative to classic with a twist. I look forward to seeing that specials board everytime I walk in there. If they somehow miss with the specials, I have countless everyday options to chose from. I saw that they were closed today (Thursday), which very much concerns me. I would be crushed if they ever ended up closing.
Amazing diner! When I arrived on a Tuesday morning, every table was occupied, but there was no wait, and the service was impressively quick, managed by just two servers. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Jim's Bean Special, and the beans turned out to be a surprisingly delightful addition to my egg breakfast. The staff was very friendly; at one point, when the neighboring table needed a boiled egg, the waitress promptly brought one from the kitchen without being asked. You can tell they're proud of their food here. Highly recommended!
During my first visit to this restaurant, the first thing that caught my attention was a waiter assisting an older gentleman to his table. It may seem like a small gesture, but I haven't witnessed such kindness from a server in a long time. The food was fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere had a warm, local vibe.
Everyone was quite cordial, and when an overdone egg was discovered at a nearby table, the waitress didn't even wait for them to complain before bringing out a fresh egg from the kitchen. There is a real sense of pride in the food here. Highly suggested. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I visited this restaurant while in NYC and absolutely loved it. They serve excellent coffee, which is often a hit or miss with smaller cafes. The food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this place for breakfast!
Best hash in town. If you are a true corned beef hash lover, you will love their homemade hash with huge chunks of corned beef. I get breakfast from here at least once a week and love it. The French toast is also excellent.
Kind, patient, and friendly staff. Walked in 10 minutes before they were closing and they welcomed us with open arms. Delicious food and cool umbiance. I definitely recommend a visit!
