The atmosphere is very family-friendly and the customer service is exceptionally attentive. The staff here is incredibly friendly and will assist you in crafting your order. Every dish is delicious, especially the ribs, which are truly heavenly. Today, I tried the chicken sandwich, which is slow-cooked in a smoker and then coated with a light breading that keeps all its juiciness. It’s far superior to the options at Farmer Boys. The onion rings are massive and have a wonderfully sweet, golden flavor. Ordering this sandwich is definitely a finger-licking experience! Thank you to the entire Fat City team. My youngest son absolutely loves your fries and BBQ sauce!
I decided to stop by this restaurant to give it a try. As soon as I entered, a friendly staff member greeted me warmly and seated me right away. I ordered a two-meat plate with brisket and ribs, along with a brisket sandwich to go. My food was ready in under 10 minutes, which is great if you’re in a rush. I really enjoyed everything—the meat was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. While it is a bit on the pricey side, I definitely think it’s worth it. The combination of friendly service and delicious food made my visit well worth the money.
I happened to be in Stockton at lunch time so I looked for a place to eat. Came across Fat City Brew BBQ. So happy that's what we chose. Got the two meat plate...brisket and pulled pork with onion rings and a side salad. So Good!!! The meats were juicy!! Some of the best BBQ meats I've had. The onion rings were good. I wish the salad had been made with romaine lettuce but it was mixed greens. The customer service was outstanding!! I would definitely return if in Stockton again. Saw the bathroom sign on my way out...loved it. Haha
Our group of 12 went on a Sunday afternoon. Our orders came pretty quickly. You order and pay and then they bring your food to your table. My husband and I both had the bbq pulled pork. It was excellent! One side comes with your meal. I had coleslaw and my husband had fries (they are really potatoes wedges). Next time I will get those. The waitresses were great and very helpful. Looking forward to eating there again real soon.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger fries and a drink. The burger was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth 18 dollars or whatever. The order of fried there was like 12 fries in the order. I didn’t even finish the burger meat was dry. They probably pre make all the burgers bc they gave me my meal 3 mins after I ordered it so definitely not as fresh as it should be. Overall I should have went to In and Out.
I was not impressed. The chicken I ordered was not breast meat, which was surprising given the price. My husband's burger was just average—nothing special. Since we're visiting from Texas, we know good burgers and this one didn't stand out. We came based on the reviews, but I can't say I'll return. It ended up being a very expensive mistake. Food rating: 1/5.
The food is absolutely fantastic. The people were also very nice. I decided to check the place out after checking out the location of my new job. Parking was easy for me to find. I would highly suggest this restaurant and would go back on occasion. It is a little pricey, but it wouldn't stop me from going back.
The staff is always very friendly helpful. I've had the smoked fried chicken sandwich as well as the brisket sandwich. Both were very good, I look forward to trying more on my next visit.

We loved the ribs, but we were surprised to find a meat tax of $9. We didn't figure it out until we ate them. We wondered why our bill seemed high.
Food is okay but not that good. Needs more dressing in their sandwiches. Feel like it's pricey for the food they serve.
