Since we discovered the Ferme Auberge we became fans because of its great value and nice seating all seasons (when open). The menu is outstanding; 36€ for starter, main course and desert including wine of the chateau. Where else can you get this? In summer they have a beautiful terrace and if the wheather is not fine you can enjoy the food inside in a very tasteful , modern interior. Very different from most locations in the region. a very good evening strange strange, because the service beginning and ending was bad, but in between was good. location beautiful. welcome strange cold and attentiveness after they are not existent sitting as 4 young waiters standing around and looking confused. but after we made it clear, we both wanted to drink and order a meal that has clicked everything into the ground. the service improved and we had eat as well as we had in france in the last years. simply excellent and good in a good position and then the service started to fall apart again. asked for the bill, it just didn't happen. We had Saturday evening dinner with our friends who have a summerhouse here. Part of Chateau Mentone (Cave) the menu features some beautiful local wines. We opted for the fixed menu with came with a glass of wine for each of the courses: white, red and rose. Nice features is that since we were with four dinners the waiter opened a fresh bottle of wine for each course. The starters were easy (I opted for the Duck Terrine). The Auberge is very newly opened. We ate dinner here with guests in July. The restaurant terrace is very attractive and the menu reads well with much emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and seasonality. The entrees were delicious. However our main courses (of well cooked and tasty local lamb) were marred by the presence of a large pre-cooked, tepid & solid baked potato wrapped in tin-foil - not a very seasonal vegetable in Provence - and some rather mushy ratatouille. The service was poor.Maybe our waitress was having a bad day, or perhaps she needed better training. The wine is delicious and well priced for a restaurant wine. A nice light lunch might be a better bet, combined with a win...
New in the Lorgues area since this summer. Went with friends for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised; from interior design to food & beverage.. In our opinion the best value for money in the area. A 3- course menu including wine of the Chateau for only 36€. The menu offers choice between different plates . Most ingredients are sourced from local farmers. Closed between end October and Easter.... Hope they can keep the staff to maintain the quality and service when opening again in 2016. If they do we become regular visitors..
The auberge was our favorite place last year; the best value for money in the region however they reviewed their offer. You still have a menu which is reasonably priced. However this year you pay 38€ instead of 36€ and they don't serve any longer a wine with the dessert. Pay more get less !! Doesn't feel good.Something else, be also aware that it is never warm inside; nor in spring nor in fall. Take warm cloths; mainly older people and women could suffer
wonderful setting! the auberge is located by the chateaux, on a hill slope that ends on the vineyards. quite & very "provencal". food is OK but wine is excellent. service is good, professional & friendly. worth to try it!

Oh wow! What a place!we visited here to sample some wine and how we were surprised by the beautiful setting and its restaurant. Beautiful food, great friendly service a real find and recommend you visit
we had a wonderful lunch on the terrace with family and friends. the food was refined and tasty. the wee was great. children were also looked after. great! would return in a heartbeat.
