Tried the new Chermside store on Thursday night. Still quite a few wrinkles to iron out it seems. Pros: Great to see a range of vegetarian options. Meals came out quickly once we ordered, due to the nature of the food (a lot of it is pre/slow cooked) the kitchen can plate up quickly. Arepas were tasty according to those that ordered them. Cons: The store had very loud music playing thorugh a single speaker to broadcast across the entire restaurant. Unfortunately it was too loud to have a conversation without shouting - the noise also made it difficult to order. We suggested turning it down a bit, especialy when the live music started up outside, but the waitress advised that she didn't know...

The service couldn’t have been better, unfortunately though, the food could have. I really expected to be blown away by the flavours but it was definitely on the bland (and small) side. Glad I paid the extra for the avocado and lime! Would have been embarrassingly stingy without that! Other dishes I saw came out did look a little more generous than my empanadas so perhaps I just ordered the wrong dish. Surrounded by so many great alternatives I’m concerned for their future, hope they find a way to make it work.
Food Was very bland and seemed mostly pre-prepared, small segmented portions of beans and rice on the platter seemed like they had come from cans. The mains were small and left a lot to be desired, you could prepare similar at home for a lot less than the we paid for three meals and be a lot less hungry afterwards. Very little service left us wondering when our food was going to be served and staff meals were served at the same time as our food after a lengthy wait... Didn't feel very welcome

How could fiery deli improve? what a big question and I have the answer. let them begin training their team members on customer satisfaction, today afternoon my partner and were thrilled to another of chermsides fab restaurants but did that quickly change today on my partner and I sat at the fery deli chermside this was one of our biggest mistakes we made as the trendy looking atmosphere and very catering menu was totally shy through the total unresting team
to eat one of my favorite places on the north side! when I read the other reviews, I think that the people expect “Mexicans” will be disappointed as this is not Mexican food, it is Latin American street food and it is authentic and delicious. eating requires a bit of their great selection of delicious hot sauces for extra taste, but this is the way it should be and how it comes in South America! will surely come back.
Food was okay nothing special, mix up with my order and ended up getting the wrong meal multiple times and once I finally got served my meal I was never provided with the side. Pretty disappointing considering I paid $24.50 for the meal and an extra $5.50 for the side I never received.
eating was nice enough. the aromen were fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly and helpful, but I thought it was just too expensive for what it was (especially during lunch). the Venezuelan el plato mixed plate I wanted to go back, but the lack of value for money would destroy me.

so delicious, clean and fresh. friendly staff. faster service. the best place to eat at chermside. current rating doesn't make it fair. I had pulled and cute, it was served in a delicious sauce with fresh salad and limette.
