My friends and I go here for our brunches ALL the time, we have for years. We chose to do the drag brunch (we have done this many times) We can't fault the staff. The atmosphere was incredible as always. When booking we could see the food menu had changed. Not one of us in our party of seven enjoyed the food. It seemed like budget cash and carry food that was heated up. Some of our food was cold and took over an hour to come out. Such a shame as the food used to be really nice on the previous menu. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The Special Roasted Chicken was particularly standout and is a must-try. The service was impeccable, also rated at 5, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was equally fantastic with a warm and welcoming vibe, earning another 5. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a budget-friendly yet memorable dining experience!
On the plus side, the service was friendly, but we had to wait too long for our meals to arrive. Additionally, we weren’t provided with proper utensils to dispose of the shellfish. The bits of crab we received seemed old and frozen, and we had no tools to crack the shells. The restaurant's atmosphere and design are its only redeeming qualities; it might be suitable for a cup of tea but I wouldn't recommend it for a sit-down meal. A really artsy interior which is fascinating. They advertise as having the best Sunday roast in Kent and I think they could well be right!
