This restaurant offered tasty food, and the service was both friendly and prompt. Upon our arrival, we noticed some food remnants under our table, which could have been easily cleaned up with a broom before new guests were seated. I ordered the taco salad and requested chicken, but received ground beef instead. I chose not to mention it. While I found the salad to be on the smaller side, it was loaded with protein, well-seasoned, and quite satisfying. My boyfriend ordered the skirt steak and thoroughly enjoyed it. After our table was cleared, the check was brought to us without inquiring if we wanted dessert, which we did. We went up to the counter to let them know and ended up getting desse...
We went to eat, my gf and daughter and her bf. Unfortunately we never got to eat as we were deciding on if we were gonna eat there or not. So when the waitress (tall heavier woman), came to ask us what we wanted for drinks, we said we were trying to decide, she then looked confused and walked off. We waited 10 minutes or so and finally I overheard her talking at the register saying they are waiting still, I look at her and said, “we’re ready.” She said,”well I’m putting something on the register, so you’re gonna to wait now!” We just looked at her at the register and our Party of 4 just walked out, this place gets an “F” for failure for customer service!
We tried this restaurant because of the good reviews but found it not to be nearly as good as others reported. I almost turned around and didn't go in because they have half scratched off Christmas decorations painted on their windows. Who does that?! The carpet was also very dirty which was a total turn off for me, but we were in Holbrook and there are few choices, so we stayed. Service was OK but the food was very average. It arrived promptly which was the best part of our experience. And we did not get sick from eating it! But we would never recommend this restaurant or go there again.
We’d been on the road for 12+ hours and were hungry and tired. With a hotel room reserved a few blocks away, we called ahead as we approached Holbrook. We consulted the menu shown on their website and ordered two Super Burritos to be picked up in about 15 minutes….internet menu showed (and is still showing) the price at $11.50 each. The bill was $32.00! I didn’t have it in me to argue with her as she’d been so very pleasant when I placed the order and again when I picked it up. The good news is that the burritos were worth the extra money…truly exceptional!

Not much on the decor but it’s the food that counts and this place was phenomenal. I had the Cameron’s in the creamy sauce and it was excellent. Sautéed mushrooms in the creamy sauce. The refried beans were so creamy and tasty. The chips and salsa are home made. J had the chicken abrao. Pounded thin and mild spice, just a touch of charcoal from the chicken. Guacamole was fresh and flavorful. Service was friendly and attentive. Family owned. Worth the visit.
We really enjoy visiting this restaurant and make it a point to gather with family once a month. The waitress is fantastic and incredibly polite, which makes our visits even more enjoyable. The food is outstanding; we've tried a range of dishes in the past and loved each one. Today, we’re excited to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday with family here. Thank you, Sombrero family!
This little family owned and operated business is a gem! We came at the recommendation of our traveling companions and we were not disappointed. The hot sauce was fabulous and every dish was excellent! The chili rellano was so good I wanted to lick my plate clean ; Don’t miss this great little place!
We had an outstanding dinner! Every dish was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We highly recommend this place! The service was fantastic, and we barely had to wait for anything.
