Filly & Firkin - Tisch reservieren

The Filly is a great find. We went on a Friday evening at 6 when everything in Newmarket was booked, and were very pleasantly surprised. At the back is a great patio which is very cosy! Beer was a great deal with $5 pints. The fokd was excellent in quality quantity and price. The chicken curry came with lots of perfectly cooked rice and 2 naan (I found out the chef was Srilankan so was able to get my curry extra spicy) and we shared the nachos with pulled pork which again was very good. Main dishes are in the $13-20 range. Great serving staff too. We will definitely eat here again. First off this place was re branded as Filly & Co guessing no longer a firkin.Cool reno guys , first time back after the re do.Had the tacos duck and chorizo, both really good super tasty. I would make them smaller and serve 3 instead of two for a taco they are bit to big. Also a good corn tortilla would make them kick some butt.I find it odd, you are a local "independent" Pub but no local beer or even close.Bottom line great spot need better beer

Went here for the first time just for drinks. Good selection and good service. I went back the next night for dinner and found the food to be very good. The service was great, the price was good and a good selection of drinks

Always a pleasure having pub grub at this Aurora favorite! My father is addicted to their spicy chicken sandwich. I lean towards their much loved curries.
