An enjoyable evening with family. Hadn't been to a Fionn MacCool's for quite some time so chose to dine her for a change. Our Server was very attentive, friendly, chatty and professional. My one critique concerns the condition of the Menus when we received them; the internal pages had seemingly been wiped with a damp cloth but had not been dried. The pages stuck together and left something to be desired, visually aesthetically. Definitely NOT a good luck for the Customer! The food quality was very good and portion sizes were generous. One element of the evening that stood out, for me at least, was how the Staff treated a young man who was sitting at the Bar watching the Blue Jays Baseball Ga...
The food was average pub food, and the condition of the restaurant itself is telling... Things are falling apart and it doesn 't look like anyone cares. There are cracks in the vinyl seats, the back of the seat in the booth we were sitting in had been held up by duct tape and was hanging there after it fell off and was left unfixed, the landing at the top of the stairs where the bathrooms are was so poorly lit I felt like I was at nightclub, and the bathrooms...ewww. They smelled like backed up sewage, the music was really loud, and they were just dirty. The lighting in the restaurant is really low, too... Even in the middle of the day. Our server, Olivia, was incredibly annoying... She was...
I was not impressed with this restaurant experience. We had made a reservation for a team dinner in advance and even submitted our preorders, but unfortunately, we did not receive our food until 2 hours after the reservation time. Despite not complaining to the wait staff, it was frustrating to pay full price for the food and have to eat it in the car because of the delay. Additionally, the kids were hungry as we did not receive the side salad we had ordered. Overall, it was disappointing and I would not recommend taking a team to this restaurant if you expect timely service.
Waited 20 minutes and never once saw a server. Only one other table on the patio and they were complaining about the service as well. Eventually brought our order to the bar and offered to bring the drinks back to our table for them. 10 minutes later the bartender still hadn’t started making our drinks so we left. Will never go back. Perhaps it will continue to run itself into the ground and we will get a new chain restaurant there soon.Despite being busy, Beertown squeezed us onto the patio and we had drinks in 5 minutes. I made reservations for dinner with my family and we arrived five minutes early. It took a few minutes to be seated. Once seated it took 10 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order. After 20 minutes we could see our drinks sitting at the bar. We waited another 15 minutes and still no drinks. People who had arrived after us received drinks and apps. We decided to leave. My husband decided to let the manager know of our disapproval and was left with a ‘sorry'. We won't we back.
The food and service were excellent at this restaurant. My wife and I went for dinner on Wednesday night and our server, Olivia, was fantastic. She was attentive and friendly. My wife ordered the fish tacos and I had the Shepherd's pie, both dishes were delicious. We were too full for dessert, but Olivia recommended the sticky toffee pudding and we were happy we tried it. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Picked up 2 orders of fish ? ? chips was great? fish was good size portions, fries are homesite with skin on, gravy could be a bigger size for $3, and lemon ? bigger size as got a small sliver for 2 pieces of fish, cold slaw was very tiny and only shredded red cabbage no taste. All in all always enjoyed the fish. ????????
slow delivery of food after ordering, over 1 hour wait food was cold glasses for water and drinks tasted of soap downstairs washroom was filthy, we went across the street at Tim Hortons to use the facilities if it was not for the server< Ariel, we would have left the restaurant and rejected the food Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
