I visited this restaurant for a date, having never been there before, so it felt like a bit of a gamble. Fortunately, it was a gamble that paid off. Our waitress was both attentive and friendly, and she made an excellent recommendation for the pork chop. My date ordered the burger, and both dishes were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The side dishes were great too—not overly large like at some places, but just the right portion. They also had a nice selection of wine. The atmosphere was pleasant, and although the seating was close to other diners, I couldn’t hear their conversations at all. I would definitely return!
Excellent Caesar salad accompanied with individual spoons of capers,egg, bacon, red onion. So darn delicious. Rib eye steak was phenomenal.... We do not eat too much beef so this was a real treat. Opah fish special was a little too rare for me but husband really enjoyed it. Great wine choices yummy bread with olive oil. Waitress was very attentive and friendly smile. The owner/chef visited every table and took personal interest in our experience. What a thoughtful touch.
Hands down, this is one of our family's top 3 restaurants in terms of food quality, service, and ambiance. With kids, the brunch selection is stellar. Just with adults, the entrees definitely do not disappoint. Whether you have gluten or dairy (or both) allergy, the staff, kitchen ceee, and chef will do their best to accommodate the diner's needs, without compromising the flavors and dining experience.
Consistently good meal; imperfections can occur anywhere but they should be infrequent and everything was great. Solid recommendations toward and away from some items by waiter and it was appreciated. There is a good reason why Doug Katz has a consistently busy restaurant...its consistently good! As regular customers, we consistently enjoy first-class and intriguing food. The management is always accessible and genuinely cares about our experience. It's consistently a pleasure to dine here. Even the parking valets are friendly, greeting us warmly both when we arrive and when we leave.
We have eaten in my restaurants in the Cleveland metropolitan area over the years and have found Fire to be consistently excellent. The ambiance, food, and service are wonderful. Look forward to returning for another good meal.
The menu offers great variety and unique offerings. I love the ambiance and always count on a delicious meal when I visit Fire. The wait staff is very attentive and I will keep going back whenever I visit Cleveland.
