My husband and I started our 24th anniversary weekend with dinner at Firebird's. We've dined at this restaurant many times before, but our experience tonight was quite frustrating. We found our table infested with flies and gnats. When a fly landed on our bread, we decided to ask for our meals to go. We ended up waving our hands to shoo the insects away while waiting for the server to bring us our takeout boxes. I was wearing a dress, and I kept getting bitten by the gnats, which was really upsetting. Iâve had better visits. There is a row of booths where people walk on both sides. We sat there. Not great. Lots of foot traffic. The room was almost uncomfortably warm. The service was slow, it took quite a few minutes for our server to come overâ¦.we had to ask someone for our server about 10-15 minutes of being seated. Service remained mediocre. Food was pretty good. I like this place and come here often, but maybe Saturday night is not a great time,
We had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday with my husband. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. To top it off, they surprised us with a beautiful dessert at the end of our meal to help us celebrate.

We each got a salad with meat on top. They were both very tasty. We had a nice visit. The service was good but not outstanding.
the waiter was extraordinary. we celebrated my wife's birthday and he went out of the way to help us celebrate.
Early dinner so not too crowded and noise level was good. Ordered filet for each of us and they were excellent.
