I'm really disappointed with my experience. On Saturday, July 17th at around 7:15 pm, our server took our order and then vanished. The busboy brought out our appetizer of potato skins, which clearly had been sitting out for a long time—they were cold, stale, and the cheese was hard. Honestly, we should have sent them back, but our server never returned to check on us. We ended up having to ask the busboy for plates, napkins, silverware, and even water.
The chicken Caesar salad was also a letdown; it had way too much dressing, making it resemble soup more than a salad. The chicken was scarce and made up of small, unappetizing pieces. I became so frustrated that I stopped eating altogether. M...
We saw the ratings before going and couldn't understand the disparity. We went on Father's Day for lunch and it wasn't too busy. The food was great! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and we ordered lobster truffle fries for the table. My son had the cheesesteak and loved it. It was packed with meat and cheese. Our service was great as well. They brought our drinks and the fries out fairly quickly with the meal following shortly. We never had to look for a server for anything and they checked on us regularly. I don't understand the bad reviews and I would be willing to go back for sure.
The bartenders at Firehouse Brew And Grill are exceptionally kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was equally welcoming. We came here for our first visit to watch a Warriors game and ended up staying for the whole match. We enjoyed the buffalo wings and the 10oz prime rib, both served in generous portions. The wings were bursting with flavor and had a pleasant spicy kick. However, the house Bloody Mary tasted a bit too much like BBQ sauce, so I’d recommend using less BBQ sauce in the recipe. Overall, I highly recommend this spot!
I often come to Firehouse Brew And Grill for drinks and meals, but today I tried the prime rib, and it was simply outstanding—one of the best dishes I've ever tasted! Perfectly cooked, it was served with baked potatoes and delicious vegetables. I can't recommend it enough; it was truly remarkable! As a longtime prime rib fan, this was the best I've ever had. The chef is incredible, and the whole staff is friendly and inviting. If you're in Martinez and want an excellent dining experience, Firehouse is the place to be. Trust me!

I thought we would try a local place, everything started out good and then a large group came in. We waited 3 hours for our food after asking numerous times when it would be served. There were no apologies, just an excuse that there was a big group and we should understand. The good is good, but I will not be going back. Totally bad experience.
First time AMAZING! Had the lobster grilled cheese, wow! ? also, the side salad was VERY legit. I mean, for a side salad it had all the greens and was hearty considering. Husband had the lobster roll good, but having the cheese with mine , I though was better. Highly recommend and looking forward to coming back soon!
I wanted to give Firehouse Brew And Grill five stars, but the service fell short. Our appetizer never arrived, and the prime rib should definitely include au jus and horseradish. That said, the food was quite good, although the lobster roll was surprisingly spicy. Also, be ready for a very loud atmosphere.
New owner the place has been spiffed up a bit with more shades, gazebos and tables outside. The food we ordered was all very good, as was the service!
