The gluten-free bread is by far the best option I've come across, and I'm really pleased that it's available. However, it only comes in a small size, and like most gluten-free products, it's quite pricey. While I understand this is to be expected and I'm not really complaining about the cost, I was disappointed by the portion. I ended up with just a small piece of bread with only a very thin layer of meat. For $12, I was hoping for a bit more.
This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I was very pleased with my experience. I tried the hot specialty New Yorker for the first time, and it was outstanding. The Schar gluten-free bread is amazing! I'm really happy that they offer it. I had the pastrami sub at a different location before, and now I'm excited to try all the subs since I've enjoyed everything so far.
I ordered the Hook Ladder sub and was really disappointed. It wasn't very good, and they charge $3.50 just for a 20-ounce soda. I wouldn't recommend this place. The bun was soggy in a few spots. Just because I didn't like it doesn't mean others won't enjoy it. I expected it to be much better given all the hype surrounding this place. Most likely, I won't be eating here again.
I ordered a smoked meat sandwich with cheddar and a side of pickles, but I never received the pickles. The sandwich itself was dry, and I could barely taste any barbecue sauce—if there was any at all. Overall, I was not impressed with my experience. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I ordered the New York steamer, and it was almost inedible due to the meat being extremely tough and unappealing. I just spent $16, plus DoorDash fees, on something that wasn't worth it at all. At least the potato soup was acceptable.
The restaurant was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. What made my first visit even better was the opportunity to support one of the employees as my meal was part of a generous portion that I truly appreciated.
Friendly helpful engaging staff. Quite clean and well maintained. Food was great. I enjoyed their meatball sub. Will be frequenting more often.
