The Firkin Tavern is a great place to take a family for dinner or to go with your friends. The dining area is quite large and completely separated from the bar area. Food is always excellent, just recently their Oktoberfest specialties and the German poutins were one of the best things I had eaten in a long time. Fast and friendly service. The bar has a large square bar and many TVs for the day of the game! You have a very large tap list with over 30 excellent beers available. In the back room there are pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, air hockey, giant jenga and more! To do a lot with friends or a date! Recommend Firkin Taverne for Bar Goers and Casual Diners Alike!
I had a fantastic time at the happy hour, which was lively and full of energy. I tried the BEST Southwestern Nachos I've ever had—seriously, they were amazing! The drinks were delightful as well. For dinner, my sister and I shared two salads (Southwestern and Buffalo Chicken), and they were both wonderful. We also played darts and air hockey. The billiard tables were occupied, but we had a good time playing anyway, even though we probably weren't very good at it! Overall, it was a delightful experience.
I had a fantastic time! It felt like I was stepping into an episode of Cheers. Mike, the bartender with the beard, was awesome! I tried a few beers before picking my favorite, and the chocolate and pineapple beer was out of this world! Then he suggested the Corn Beef Sandwich, which was delicious. The fries were perfectly seasoned too. I’ll definitely be returning. It’s a fun bar with great people and tasty food!
Staff management were equally as kind and attentive every time I've been there so far. Got the bone in boneless wings both were phenomenal compared to other bars I've been to, plus a great choice of sauce options. Also got the poutine fries which I usually don't like because of other bars but here they were really good and the portion was large and good for the price. 10/10 will be returning again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the atmosphere. While the service is quick and efficient, I wouldn't describe it as particularly friendly. Picture a place where the matter-of-fact attitude meets a laid-back vibe, and you have the Firkin Tavern. In summary, you can expect excellent food and beer despite the somewhat rough round-the-counter decor.
I Firkin love this place. You feel like you belong here. Great food and awesome unique Beers. Mike is the best too!
