One of the best traut, just ask the Traut a la schef art, and no fancy other stuff. The fish we got was may alive 30 minutes before it ended in our plate, if you really like and enjoy fish, you will feel the diffrent to other deep frozen type and this one. Great service, nice price, and almost only locals eating. Locals: from retired elder lady, to a hipster, and cooky businss man, and local heroes : all liked and come. Chef was recodnised us when we returned two days later, also nice and tell service level. Great culinary experince, just as needed, no fancy stuff but nice service and excellent food. My twins did not like fish, like rest of us, so they got excellent winer snitzel :
We dropped randomly into this restaurant as it was so inviting from the road we passed by. It was lunch time, the restaurant was full mainly with local people, and it already promised some good experience as local people knows best where it makes sense to go for eat. We ate different fish meals, all were very tasty and the service was really quick and very friendly. Unfortunately you can pay only by cash, they do not accept credit cards, but this place is really worth for a visit if you like fish food.
Beim Besuch von Schloss Trautenfels ist uns ein Restaurant unterhalb des Schlosses aufgefallen. Wir waren angenehm überrascht, als wir feststellten, dass ein Großteil des servierten Fisches in den Teichen neben dem Ort gezüchtet wird. Der Fisch kann auf mehrere Arten zubereitet werden und war sehr lecker. Die Preise sind äußerst angemessen. Unser Kellner war hilfsbereit und effizient. Wenn Sie in der Nähe von Liezen sind, empfehle ich einen Besuch.
After our 'rundflug ' we stopped here for our lunch. It turned out to be a good choice. Quick service, very good food and a nice view. Also a special card for the kids.
