Eat here regularly, nice fresh fish, tasty grilled fish as an option, yummy potato chips, 3 or 4 side salads to choose from. Generous amount on your plate. Quick service. Friendly efficient staff. Orders taken at the counter, a number given, and delivered to your table.Only downside, as it only has outside seating, it is sometimes, too hot on the western side, too blowey or cold on the north/eastern side, could do with some roll down curtains to protect patrons from the weather extremes.
489 has the best fish chips and seafood salad in the redlands, at the best price. we had a few problems with the personal to get the orders wrong when they take away so always make sure that they replay the personal and check before they. When I take a tipp away I a to order as they cook everything fresh so it takes some time when they wait.
in all reality we thought that our eating was almost a 5 but could not quite themselves give this score. the fish (cod) was very generous in size and delicious. potato scallops fantastic, burger not quiet perfect but very good. chips were. also almost perfect. can't blame the service.

We used to live at Redland Bay and go here as a family . we have 4 boys and the family pack is great value for us all. We love these guys and even drive back from our new home 25 mins away to still come here .Beer battered chips are him him
We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch while traveling south. The fish and chips were excellent, and the server even brought some extra seasoning for my chips. Definitely worth a visit!
