I have been a regular customer at this fish and chip shop, but during my last visit I inquired about the cooking time of the fish and was told it had been cooked for around half an hour. I was concerned that they may have reheated old fish just to avoid wasting it. It was approximately 7pm at the time. I was not willing to pay for fish that had been cooked for that long, considering the current prices. Therefore, I decided to go to another restaurant to get a fresh fish. I will not be returning to this chip shop again and will seek out a different spot for a quality meal.
I have used this shop for my family and also my local church use it for take out meals after a church function. always good quality and lots of it. the only downside for some people might be they only take cash
chips and broken sausages are like any chippy, but the curry sauce is terrible. I think they water it off and add a thickening agent for consistency, as it has no taste. very disappointing.
local chippy must always wait 5 or 10 minutes has never found the simplest dinge cooked as chips, its quicker to go in wigston on the chippy there the same quality, but with out the wait.
