11/9/23-I came in on the 7th, and there was a mistake with my Poké bowl to go order where I had requested only half rice, but I was given the half and half, which has salmon, which I am allergic to. I left a one star review a couple of days ago with my correspondence and the voicemail I had left getting no response back. However, out of frustration I reached out by email as instructed on the receipt and to my surprise I got a response from Alexander and he was gracious enough to make things right and explain the misunderstanding, apologize and make it right with a gift certificate. We have been coming to Fish District for years. The wraps are always huge and delicious. My go to is the Fish Wrap Baja Style but this time we tried the steak wrap and the shrimp wrap. Both were terrific. I was happily surprised how good their steak was for a fish place (normally I would not have even done that). In fact, next time, I may do the steak wrap again. We also had the salmon and kale bowl, which is always refreshing and good. But we always start with the poke crispy rice cake (1/2 tuna and 1/2 salmon). This is always good. I love it here! I came here two nights ago with my best friend and I loved it so much I kept telling my husband about it and we went today! Both times I got the mahi burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Super fantastic, though I recommend getting the tartar sauce on the side so the sauce won't drip on your hands and make the bottom bun soggy. When I went with my friend she ordered the 4 piece shrimp basket and she was happy with it and my husband also got the mahi burger since I raved about it so much and he liked it too. I will probably try a different item next time because so many items on their menu sound yummy but it is a great place and I will definitely be coming back!
9/1/23: A re visit and greatly disappointed from a previous visit. What has HAPPENED? The crust on the fish was soooo thick and pancake like . Not flaky anymore as I remembered it. I could basically unroll the fish to removed the crust in almost one piece. Just not good anymore. So disappointed as we have previously enjoyed the fish here. Staff was good and willing to re do. They did and the fish was exactly the same we rejected this, sad to say. Clam chowder was still xln 't, but that 's the only draw for us.

I have been a customer of this restaurant for years, but last week I had a terrible experience here. The food I was served was very old, cold, and stale especially the rice. Every restaurant has an off day, but when I made a point of mentioning this to the server, I was completely ignored, and they made no attempt to make thing right. Terrible experience, and I will not go there again. Wake up call to the franchise owner.
WE need more quick service fish places like Fish District! The fish was tasty and fresh and the portion sizes were pretty good as well! Located in a shopping center so parking is super easy. The poke was delicious and the Fish and chips were what I needed!nice and crispy fish and the fries were perfectly cooked. Inside is spacious and well lit so very welcoming. Can't wait to go back for more of that delicious poke.
The restaurant was freezing cold. I wondered when I was approaching the restaurant and why everyone was sitting outside even though it was 7 PM. Went in to order it must have been 65 degrees. I asked if they could turn off the A/C, and I was told it was off but hasn't warmed up. Do they not have a furnace to warm it up? Had to eat our food so it would not get too cold before we finished.
For anyone who knows me well, you know I love fish and chips. But, they have to be great. I enjoy the chips that are not too crispy, but fried just enough to hold up to the malt vinegar. And the fish breading needs to be crisp and not oily. So I am a tough customer when it comes to fish and chips, and Fish District is a winner!

I'm definitely not impressed with the fish here nor was I overly and enthralled with the girl that I was trying to order from. They really need to step up their game.
Fish and chips is totally on point. 2 generous pieces of cod. Wack coleslaw. Nothing else matters. The fish Uber fresh!
