The fellow I encountered was informative and shared freely a ton of information and dispelled some of my misconceptions about where their fish comes from etc. After having been at many African fish markets, I thought that this one operated somewhat the same...quelle suprise...it does not! LOL, thanks to the Fish Market guy for enlightening me.
Affordable prices and delicious fish. However, the schedules are inconsistant as when the store opens and what's in stock with no websites to check. The store owner or employee sometimes won't even show up even though the sign says it's open
I can only sing the praises of this beautiful little fish market that is the most famous landmark of Sidney, BC. The owner is supremely efficient and kind, serving the community in a significant way in providing the freshest fish ever!

This is a seafood Mecca. The owner is very friendly and professional. The very freshest of seafood is available. We buy larger quantities and vacuum packages ourselves.
This place is the best for fresh fish , we get our crab meat and always a nice piece of salmon ! Highly recommended!!
