Famous for the their sushi donuts ‘doshi’ and sushi tacos, Fish Market Cafe is located inside the Sydney Fish Market. <br/ <br/ Looking at the beautiful display, it was hard to decide what to get. We ordered the salmon and avocado red rice donut, tuna taco and a salmon scallop sushi. Everything was to die for.<br/ <br/ If you can only pick one item, my recommendation is the sushi donut. Not only are they incredibly pretty and instagrammable, but they taste as good as they look! Every bite is flavourful and balanced. Toppings are generous, fresh and of high quality. Sushi donut $8)<br/ Salmon inari $3.50)<br/ 5/5 <br/ When you want a donut but you want to be healthy as well . The #sushidonuts are a sight to behold and taste as good as they look. The purple Japanese rice is of a soft chewy texture and goes really well with the fresh sashimi we opted for the 3 fish option and was pleasantly surprised to find it packed with salmon chunks inside as well). We also liked the topping of sesame and sesame flavouring. The joint was absolutely heaving. It’s a bainmarie type setup but don’t let that fool you it all looks very fresh and I don’t think it sits there long. We opted for a cold platter for a bout $55 which had a good amount of lobster, 4 oysters, prawns, scallops and smoked salmon. Asked for chips but for some unknown reason they said no but whatever, food was good and would have been nice to sit outside if it wasn’t for the filthy disgusting birds absolutely everywhere. If I lived in Sydney I’d be coming here to get the seafood for the week.
As a Zomato Pro member I was entitled to 20% off, a bonus to the freshly made seafood. The Lobster and Oyster Monarch were extremely tasty, the cheesy aftertaste complimented the saltiness of the fresh seafood very well. Crowded as usual since we went on Sunday, but lots of tables were available throughout. Do not recommend sitting outside though as you'd have to fight with the seagulls. Most of the food at the fish markets is bland and old deep fried garbage HOWEVER this seafood cafe has the most delicious fresh seafood, will definitely be coming back here. Reasonably priced as well

I reallly enjoyed the sushi donuts ! So fresh and flavourful and I loved how colourful they all were! I tried the salmon and tuna and they tasted so delicious
