Yesterday's visit was a letdown. The restaurant was relatively busy, so we were seated near the hostess station. Initially, we were the only ones on that side, but a couple soon arrived next to us with a different waitress. After taking our drink orders, our waitress returned with our ice water. We then placed our dinner orders; we usually order the same dishes, so it didn’t take long to decide. I ordered the grilled shrimp and scallop entrée. Normally, I'd choose rice, but since it had been over a year since I had their hush puppies, I opted for those instead. I have visited this establishment on many occasions however yesterday was a completely different story, I arrived at 6:30pm when the posted signage outside has an 8pm closing sign and the hostess Kyle and a female server with blonde hair were very adamite about not seating my party of 12 , we suggested that we be separated and had no problem waiting. The server yelled yea but you already said its a party of 12 and we are short staffed and I 'm really busy, Its only two of us on the floor and we just cant. We 're probably even closing early. Fantastic value for the price! Only $14 for three large fish tacos? Absolutely! The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is that I found the appetizer sampler a bit lackluster. While the wings were delicious, the shrimp were small and lacking flavor. My coworker ordered the oyster po' boy and mentioned it was really good. If you're a fan of fish tacos, this is definitely the spot for you!

The food is fantastic! If you're a fan of soul food and seafood, this is the place for you. The service is excellent as well. However, the restaurant can get quite crowded on weekends, as it's not very spacious.
