The food was terrible the meat was dry and leathery and the lobster was overcooked so much that it was tiny, burnt and unrecognizable. The service was also very slow beyond slow, with weak excuses about how it's usually like this on a Friday. It was a completely disappointing experience though the manager was eventually responsive to our issues after they started to stack up We would not go back, and haven't had a dining experience as awful as this in awhile.
We enjoyed a perfect dinner at 5 crowns, served by Tim. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was delightful. We loved the peppers and shrimp cocktail appetizers, the lobster bisque and Caesar salads. Each of our dinner options were perfect-the prime rib, the New York strip and the filets. Topped by wonderful desserts, too. Just a beautiful dinner in such a beautiful place!
There are very few restaurants that have the ambience, quality of food and service that the Five Crowns has. It has been in business for well over 70 years and that says it all. Our server, Carly, was so very friendly and attentive to our wants and needs. Our experience could not have been better. Highly recommend!!
So sad that one of our favorites was a not so great experience. The food was mediocre at best. The quality has gone down hill. The prime rib was very grissely (sp? , the au gratin potatoes seemed re-heated, the carrot cake was very dry, the crème brûlée seemed more like flan. Very unfortunate. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Service was terrible! It took over 15 minutes to get a drink. The entrees arrived late and overcooked. Dishes were slow to be cleared away, and we had to ask our server for the check. The noise level in the restaurant was uncomfortably loud, despite there being few other customers.
Food was average and kitchen efficiency was terrible. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for the food to be deserved. Prime ribs was good but portion was less than that from Lawry's (the owner of Five Crowns) and not including the green salad. Rack of lamb was overcooked and a dry.
Carly is always a delight as a server... anticipating every need and request as if reading our minds! That said, the evening went well. We are rewards members and the perks were wonderful! Food excellent as always, and it's one of our favorite spots to dine. :
The food was really good. Our server was pretty good as well, I don't remember her name though so boo. I got the prime rib which was prepared perfectly. The mashed potatoes and creamed corn sides were delicious too. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food and service is always attentive and friendly. Turi was our server and she is terrific! Always smiling offering suggestions when asked and checking to ensure everything is good.
