If you are looking for a run-of-the-mill restaurant with moderate farewell and offers less than stellar customer service, see elsewhere. Conversely, if you're looking for delicious cheeseburgers and hot fresh frits from the best ingredients, don't see more than Five Guys. Every time I visited one of their Wichita sites, the food was excellent, the staff, friendly and the atmosphere, positive. Okay, so they're a little expensive, but you get what you pay. The paper bag she hand, you can be a tad greasy, but that's just proof positive of meticully-cooked French roast potatoes in pure peanut oil, not to mention that their burgers are out of the hook. I’ve also been to a Five Guys in Virginia and the quality hasn’t changed. Same awesome burger and fries. Regular Cajun fries gets you a cup and probably another 2 in the bag! Very generous. Burgers are fresh! I get the Bacon Burger, all the way, no mustard, add grilled green peppers. Never messed up my order ever. Fresh patties, fresh fries, Cajun seasoning is fire! The veges on the burger are fresh, and have great texture so you know. They now have milkshakes too. One size and whatever toppings for one price. Not the cheapest but you get the quality you want! Great staff! Freestyle Coke machine. I sat outside and it was nice.
Okay, I ordered the delivery. I ordered two hot dogs with the works. The staff was really nice on the phone when I talked to some of them. When I got my order, I thought I had a hot dog and a hamburger. I checked the package I thought was a hamburger and it was actually a hot dog cut in a hamburger hall. I called her and they said they ran out of hot dog halls. So I tried and it was really good. I never had that before... haha... everything was really good.
I might be from DC where five guys started. Either I love the food from here. The burgers are so delicious and a regular order of the fries will feed people! The staff at this point was very nice and they kept everything during the lunch break. Will be back.
