The restaurant is beautiful, but parking is tight and you may need to park a block or two away. Despite the lovely walk, we had to wait about an hour to be seated. Once seated, our server took our orders but never checked back on us. Our food arrived incomplete and our server did not come to rectify the situation. When we finally flagged her down, we were told that the child's meal was delayed due to cooking the burger well, and the adult meal never came out. Frustrated, we canceled the order. The service was slow and we were not even asked about dessert. The only reason for the 2-star rating is because the food was delicious. The catfish nuggets were perfectly cooked, and the fried chicken...
I tried the oxtail here and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. I also enjoyed the various sides we ordered - the okra was delicious with bacon, the Swiss chard was tender yet not mushy, and the kartoffel salad was scrumptious. The fried chicken was juicy and the biscuit that came with it was buttery and flavorful, especially when paired with the blueberry butter. The service was pleasant and attentive, although the food did take a bit long to come out. However, the waitress made sure to check on us regularly, which was appreciated. Overall, this place is one of the best for seafood and highly recommended! So good!
it was incredibly delicious! her fried chicken was so good. I was just a friend on the road, but now I want to take my S/o and my family here when they visit! I was quite surprised by the spicy colesaw, but everything else was fantastic? I am super picky about cookies, but at the end they eat. highly recommended! her personal is incredibly friendly and will make sure that they enjoy their meal and have a good time? super delicious alcoholic drinks! pleasantly surprised?
Food was okay. Considering as I walked down the street and the aroma was wonderful. I guess I don’t care for brine. The food looks pretty and smells good. Not sure if sugar was in the greens or vinegar. Macaroni and cheese was okay. I was disappointed there were no peaches in the peach cobbler. I’ll give them a couple more tries because I want to try smothered chicken and oxtails. Hopefully I’ll enjoy…

I have been here a couple times and every time I have came in has been wonderful. The food, service, and vibe of this place makes it stand out and leaves you wanting to come back for more. The fried green tomatoes are a MUST try! I could literally eat a few orders of those and just be happy. Their fried chicken is one of the best in town and does not disappoint!
I had brunch here earlier today, and I will DEFINITELY be back! The potatoes were NOT good...but the music was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the Fried Chicken Omlette was AMAZING...and even though it didn't go with brunch, you know I had to have some of their red kool-aid, to remind me of my childhood!?

The food here is fantastic! I especially enjoyed the mac and cheese and red beans and rice, and the biscuits were delicious. The smothered huh was the highlight of the meal. The restaurant is very clean and the servers are excellent.
This was out first time here and felt welcomed right when we walked in! The food was AMAZING, service was great and got our food quick! We left then came back later for drinks! Highly recommend!!!
