Now here's the rub, comparing trendy upmarket venues with a little cantina tucked away off the main drag and how do you rate them? Well, a hearty plate, an array of tasty food on the menu that won't break the bank is good value, you may not get cos lettuce in the caesar, but it will be fresh. The latte in an Irish Coffee glass huge, and some Elvis Presley style meals different but fyi, I loved the grilled cheese on bacon and banana.. Hang over haven. Across the road the complete opposite if you are looking for a healthier option.
Was recommended Flame Tree for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed. Down a little side street from the main strip, initial impressions were not brilliant. However we persevered and I'm glad we did. We ordered a green paw paw salad with calamari and some grilled barramundi with salad. The paw paw salad was crunchy and delicious it was very well seasoned though I would have liked a little more chilli. The barramundi was tasty too.
BEST Cafe to visit in Tully & FNQ. I visited several times and was never unimpressed :D once I visited and it was buzzing with customers but I was more then happy to wait 30mins for my deliciously made fresh chicken & salad sandwich alongside a choc frappe. The food is to die for & I'd HIGHLY recommend to any visiting family & friends :D
Walked around Tully looking for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. Found this little place. Ordered a shared club sandwich. One of the best we have had in quite a while. A hidden gem which provides great coffee, hot scones and excellent service at a reasonable price. Also a range of healthy meals. This is an eatery definitely not to be missed in a small town some people would bypass to go to larger centres or Mission Beach.
Had the full breakfast and a seafood plate both tasty and a good size serve. Friendly and attentive staff and reasonable prices. 2 meals and 2 hot drinks only $36. Would go there again.
The staff are very welcoming all smile and foods are great the place are clean,my favourite is the boost juice and crunchy chips,veggie spring rolls yum,yum,yum....
