The Berkshire is a reliable choice for a delicious meal and pleasant atmosphere. It is a small, but friendly restaurant. The rolls are a highlight and always keep us coming back, along with the generous salads and delicious entrees. This time, our experience was slightly disrupted by ongoing renovations in one area of the restaurant.
We enjoyed the Berkshire, and were disappointed when it was closing. We tried Flatstone, but were disappointed. Do not go here anticipating anything similar to Berkshire. It is a totally open room, very noisy because of that. Food we ordered was just okay. Cannot recommend it.
Good meal in spite of the fact that steak was not cooked to our specification (medium vs. requested medium well). Would have told the wait staff after the first bite, but no one stopped by our table until we were virtually done. The food was tasty and plentiful, though.
The steak was undercooked and after sending it back, it still came out undercooked a second time. The overall quality of the food was not very good. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Consistently first class. Always great food, great service and great ambience. The waitstaff is always attentive without being pushy or bothersome. We highly recommend the experience.
Not what we expected. Just not good. Too greasy for what should have been a healthy portobello mushroom dish, all bread and tiniest mushroom ever.
Simply put, you just can't beat great food and service that's always consistent at the Berkshire.
