Honestly, reading the other reviews I thought this was going to be a fantastic experience, however I was way off. The evening began by the hostess not even greeting us (this was for a 70th birthday party so we had a group of 10). The manager just sohappened to be walking by and he greeted us. We were seated and ordered drinks. Some of the drinks we ordered they couldn 't makebecause the were out of pineapple juice which could have been remedied by going to Dierbergs or something. We then orderedsome strawberry daiquiri 's, but they tasted horrible so they were sent back, and we settled on iced tea. I was in many steak houses in the past, and that was my first time at the Flemings Steakhouse in Frontenac Missouri. Let me just say that the atmosphere and mood was quite elegant. I didn't bring my appetite, but I had every intention to enjoy my birthday dinner. Flemings didn't disappoint! I had the chili and seabass, which was absolutely wonderful together with a very unique website order of onion rings. I was handed over a gift box from decadent chocolate and it was quite delicious! I have been to Fleming?s a few times and it is always a great experience. I recently went here for my birthday and it was incredible! The server was knowledgeable, attentive and the food was wonderful. Their chocolate gooey butter cake is quite possibly the best dessert I have ever had. I?m serious. I would come back just for that! Our table was decorated when we arrived and even had a birthday card signed by the staff, which I thought was an incredibly sweet personal touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and the owner was very kind. I will definitely be back to celebrate future special occasions!
The service was impeccable. The menu was full of well crafted dishes. I highly recommend the sweet chili calamari! My spouse and I ordered the filet Mignon. We weren't entirely impressed with it. While it was cooked exactly as requested, the meat itself seemed flavorless. Afterwards we decided we should have gotten a different cut of steak. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the wine selection, atmosphere, service, and menu.
I took my mother to dinner and birthday. We enjoyed the ambience, the service, especially the food. Our server Andrew was very attentive and professional, as well as the other employees who jumped and helped to remove items from the table, to deliver fillings on drinks, or whatever was necessary. My mother was very happy and ran over food all the time. We'll be back.
Very good experience. A Nice birthday card was on the table for my wife and signed by the staff. The waitress and service staff was very good. Ask for the half size sides so you can try more. I really enjoyed it! Nice atmosphere, good food and good service! I wanted my filet cooked medium and it was more medium well so I can't give the full 5 stars. The potatoes also could've used some salt. They were lacking flavor, for me. Overall good and I would definitely go back.
