Fleming's sets the standard for how a steak restaurant should be. It's filet is the filet used to compare all others. Additionally, I loved the water. The ice was just right, and sparkled the way it should in the perfect lighting. The texture of the tablecloth was just right. Not too smooth, not too course. I personally prefer nice, visible, diamond grill marks on my steak. Not just diagonal and not square. Presentation is big to me. Also, I don't believe on busssers running food. Especially when it's slow. That's gross to see them enter the kitchen with their thumb submerged in someone's leftover condiments, and immediately walking out with my food and a visible stain where they obviously just wiped their hands on their pants.
Amazing place to turn Sweet 16. Our daughter had the lobster and raved and raved! After her birthday dessert (favorite part) she walked out to her new car! The staff was accommodating and helpful in every aspect of her surprise. We can't say enough good things about our times at Flemings. So glad they were a part of such a special day.

The absolute best experience. Our waiter Otis was very knowledgeable and helped us make great choices. Tyler the manager was very nice and my hat goes off to Chef Carl. That bone in ribeye was AMAZING. The mac n cheese and cream spinach were good sides.. And the crab cakes were a good appetizer as well as the pork belly and grits.
We went for my birthday last Wednesday I was very disappointed the steaks were cooked right but very tuff the brussel sprouts were burnt and bitter and creme brulee had burnt flavor I think if you pay a car note for dinner it should have been much much better
Flemings is my favorite place to get a steak in Baton Rouge. The filet comes out perfect every time. Get the lump crab meat on top and thank me later. Great food. Great wine. Great service.
Over-the-top experience… A “best of” Fleming’s experience… Otis took exceptional care of us… Very highly recommended!

Steak look better than tasted. My wife and I food was bland. Wasn't blown away. Staff was nice though.
