We requested a booth. We was told so many booths were reserved so we was sat by the door. All night 6 booths were empty. A big party came in and stood right behind us and it was kind of uncomfortable. That should advise guest to remain in a certain area or bar or outside until table is ready. We weren’t by told by any of the staff about both the restrooms being closed. Both were flooded out with plugged in electrical cords running. Not only did I wonder how the staff washed their hands, I wondered why no signs so no one gets hurts. The food was amazing but our waiter seemed ready to clock out. His energy was low. All in all we enjoyed our dinner.
We asked for a quiet table; although there were many such in the back rooms, we were seated right next to the kitchen, with cooks and servers yelling and dishes banging all night. The large main room has all the charm of a big city bus station. The staff is excellent and tried valiantly to make our experience more pleasant. However, the food arrived 90 minutes after we were seated, and although OK, was not worth all the other trouble. If you can’t be guaranteed seating in one of the smaller back rooms, stay away. Indeed, stay away on a busy weekend night.
Tomahawk Tuesday is a good deal for 2 people. Went on Tomahawk Tuesday and ordered my steak medium rare. However, steak was almost medium? Server pointed to the center to show that it was medium rare. Flavor was good but temperature was off. Disappointed. They did offer to do another steak but I didn't feel like waiting. I usually order ribeye or filet... I may have to stick to those cuts here. Fleming potatoes are a favorite of mine... tasted good. Brussel sprouts were very good.
We really appreciated what the staff at Fleming's did to celebrate my mother's birthday! It was super cute! The food was to die for and we enjoyed the restaurant's ambience. It will definitely make it on our lists of favorites here in Cali!

This experience was unlike no other. Fleming’s has been my favorite steak house for many years, however this experience did not meet expectations. The people we encountered were nice in general with a few that were nicer than others.
Service was VERY SLOW. Our reservation was 6:30 and the food didn’t arrive until 8:15! My French onion soup was the last to arrive
