Dining is at its best when it is an experience and Nam and the Fluer de Lotus family deliver. Upon their recommendations our small group sampled an array of starters and entres and with every new dish were delighted to discover a special blend and variety of flavours. We've travelled extensively and eaten well and can say that this was among the best we've experienced. The service was fantastic, delivered with unobtrusive attentiveness and a warmth which made us feel like we were part of family. We enjoyed it so much we are returning before we leave to explore new tastes - their Vietnamese soups. Fluer de Lotus may very well be an enticement on its own for us to return to Cagne sur Mer.
Since the early -90:th we have been visiting this restauant as often as possibleThe food is excellent , and has the real Asian taste.i.e: They are not trying to please the French/Europans by making dishes that in orign shall be hot and spicy, milder .. After living and working in Asia for more than 25 years we know how it shall taste, and this restarant serve the best Asian food in the south of FranceThe service is soft and efficient, and the atmosphere perfect. They have a huge variation of dishes.. If you go there for lunch we can strongly reccomend their their setmenue for less than 12€LN
The restaurant is quite small inside, and outside there are some tables on the road. The food was really really disappointing, the rice was stangely hot, just like when You use the microwave (I heard a microwave bip before it was served and I would bet they used it, even if I can be wrong). The prices are quite high in my opinion (some dishes cost more than 20 euros), and I really do not understand why in cagnes to pay much more than what You pay in the take away just next door (may be the property is the same, and where You can even sit inside).
We visit this area once or twice per year and always go back to this restaurant for lunch or dinner and have always found the staff very welcoming and had efficient service. The prices are what you would reasonably expect on the Cote d'Azur. We have never been disappointed with our choices and particularly love the Nem as a starter. The lunchtime menu is very good value.

Real asian food, in lovely surroundings in a good location in front of the Hippodrome, cagnes sur Mer. parking in front but make sure that you pay ! The waitress serves you in traditional style dress. The food is excellent but not cheap. Outdoor seating but make sure that you have a parasol as it is baking hot in the midday sun. Certainly a place we will visit again.
We had dim sum to start which was okay. My noodles with chicken and fish etc were very greasy but a fair portion size. Prices are average for the area. Best thing is the location - close to the promenade.
Really delicious vietnamese food for a good price. Went back there a few days later to taste some more dishes. Liked it even more the second time around.
Great food fantastic decor you feel you are in the Far East well worth a visit. The food was not cheap but was good value and the staff very helpful.
